If you’ve been a member of our community for a while, or if you’ve brought projects to the desert that have involved a wide crew of various means & resources, you’d likely know that for around 10 years now, we’ve had cheaper ticket categories available that make it easier for the less-affluent among us to access our event and be part of the experience. This is just one way in which our team have designed ticketing and other processes in order to ensure that the principle of Radical Inclusion is brought alive in a practical manner.
In line with this in 2018, we adjusted our lowest ticket type – Community Tickets – by renaming them, and making our application process a little easier.
They may have a new name, but Anathi* Tickets are once again available for those who identify as disadvantaged or marginalised – and they’re available at R200 a pop. Applicants can also motivate for welfare and transport support too, through our Access Grant programme.
If you fit the bill, you’re welcome to apply – applications open on Monday (the 21st) and close on Feb 21st. If you’ve wanted to include someone on your crew or know people who are keen to join us in the dust but don’t have the means, here’s your chance at making the circle bigger.
