Who are the people that go to the AfrikaBurn event? Where do they come from, and how do they get to the desert ephemeropolis that they create together? What do they do, while they’re there? How many of them are actively involved in creating the city together (and how many of them think ‘my gift to the experience is my presence’?).
The answers to these and loads of other questions have landed – and they’re equal parts thought-provoking, surprising and interesting. And we have 870 people to thank for this year’s info: if you’re one of those 870 humans, we say THANK YOU, DANKIE and ENKOSI! Without you taking the time to respond to the Survey’s many questions, we wouldn’t have such great data to help us all understand the humans of our community, how they all perceive and experience our event, and what the bigger picture looks like, both in the dust and beyond it. (so if you didn’t fill our Survey out, hey – next year, when it comes round, please fill it out; it’s really helpful for everyone to see that big picture).
