When does The Baardskeerder go out?
During the busy period of our year (January to May) newsletters go out roughly every two weeks, other than during the lead-up period to our main event – for example in April, when they’re weekly. The Baardskeerder generally goes out on a Friday (once in a while on a random day), so we ask that you get us content by the Tuesday prior to publication.

To ensure your content is included, please use the Newsletter/Content Submission form below.
Please don’t email and don’t send a text message, whatsapp, Facebook message, verbal request, smoke signal or messenger pigeon – these are all prone to getting lost, forgotten or require reworking into the format of the form you see below. Don’t do it: use the form, thanks. And note: our Newsletter team reserve the right to publish content – if your content’s in too early, it will be postponed until a relevant publish date. If it’s too late, it might only make it onto our social media channels.
*a baardskeerder is a Solifuge: a kind of insect, an arachnoid, that’s found in the Tankwa Karoo. They look fierce (but actually can’t harm humans – their fearsome jaws are only capable of biting insects).
