In case of fire: “stop, shop and jol!” at the Burn Out Bizarre, a fashion fun-raiser for AfrikaBurn Art Projects.
In light of the devastation caused by recent storms, the Burn Out Bizarre is gifting 50% of its event profits, and 30% of fashion show auction funds to all the AfrikaBurn artworks impacted in the desert.
So…
1. Stop panicking that AfrikaBurn is around the corner and you still have so much to organize. Instead go to one place where you can get everything you need to THRIVE in the desert.
2. Shop our Bizarre Market for sustainable and moop-free fashion, leave no trace treasures and other things you need to be radically self-reliant. At golden hour grab front row seats at the Bizarre Fashion show where you can bid live on one-of-kind creations (like the images featured) from some of South Africa’s finest festival designers.
3. Jol with kindred spirts you hope to meet again soon on the playa at our (mini-festival) after party. Expect epic sound, epic lights and epic vibes. Throughout the day you will be delighted by a variety of performances from bizarrely talented entertainers. If you’re having so much fun when the clock strikes 12 that you don’t want to go home, join us for the after, after party Techno Tronyx at District (15% of ticket sales with the code “Burn Out” go to the art cause).
So, you see, there is no reason to Burn Out before you get to the desert. Join us for a day of fun while you simultaneously tick off your to do list and start connecting with other members of the community.
