Ever heard of a paste-up? If not, no worries—this is your chance to dive into something fun, simple, and totally creative!
A paste-up is like a mini poster, for this project,no larger than A4, that showcases your personal artwork. You can create it however you like—draw freehand with a permanent marker, paint with acrylics, or use a laser jet printout to bring your vision to life. (Heads up: Inkjet prints won’t work, as our water-based paste would ruin them.)

What’s the plan?

We’re building a collaborative triangular paste-up column at AfrikaBurn 2025—an interactive art installation where your creation can shine alongside other Burn inspirations from around the world!
Once the installation is complete, slices of the column (art boards approx. 600mm high × 900mm wide) will be given away in a lucky draw—a chance to take home a unique piece of the Burn!

How to get involved:

• Create an A4-sized artwork—it can be funny, thought-provoking, totally random, or anything in between.
• Bring it to AfrikaBurn 2025.
• Paste it up and let the world see your creativity!

No art degree required—just imagination and a desire to share. Let’s fill the desert with art that speaks to everyone!
