We are creating a space at AfrikaBurn for people to share their vision of what a better world would look like and the small actions we need to take to get there. There will be a variety of different mediums to choose from, including recording equipment, music, paints, books and art materials.

After AfrikaBurn, we will create a digital compilation of everyone’s dreams for a better world and share it. This will also help to create meaningful change for social good in the default world. We are in need of a small structure to host this space in as well as donations of any art materials and equipment.

Conscious creation is your summons. Join us in collective dreaming where we’ll go on a journey and weave together our visions for the world. What is your tale of turning, your story of hope and change? Your dream of what the world could be?

Be an explorer and discover different ways to express this new way of being that you want to embody in the world. Here you will find a book and pen to write a story or a poem. There you will find a typewriter and paper. Or maybe you want to turn on the music and feel inspired to record a dance that brings this new world into being? That’s not your thing? Grab the cassette or recorder and make an audio clip. But wait if that hasn’t grabbed you, you’re not out of options yet. There’s paint and crayons for you to play with and create a picture of how you want the world to be.

How will we reach this new world born from our collective dream? Remember to leave clues along the way, breadcrumbs if you will, a glimpse into the small steps we need to take to bring this collective dream into creation. 

You’ve all given so much to this collective dream, now all that’s left is for us to do the weaving. After AfrikaBurn we’ll be stitching your dreams together and drawing a map from the small steps you share.
