AfrikaBurn 2025: 28 April to 4 May

Part-time Human Resources position at AfrikaBurn

At AfrikaBurn, our greatest asset is our community of creatives … from the people who make the art you see in Tankwa Town, through to the people who work for AfrikaBurn throughout the year to help ‘invent the world anew’.

As we’ve recovered post-pandy, the internal org team working out of our HQ in Cape Town has grown quite a bit, and because of this, we’re now looking for a part-time HR person to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who understands what it means to be a part of our community, where passion and belief drive our organisation, rather than profit or bottom lines. Our internal team is as varied and challenging as the people you meet in Tankwa Town, making this role suitable for someone who is looking to break out of the mundane corporate world and help to create a supportive environment where people can thrive and deliver the best regional Burning Man event in the world (ever).

About AfrikaBurn:

AfrikaBurn is the home of Burning Man culture in the Southern African region and plays a significant role in the arts and culture sector of South Africa. AfrikaBurn’s motto is to ‘Invent the world anew’ and we constantly strive towards this.
