While we usually have a number of film crews on site in Tankwa Town making documentaries and following participants’ stories, this year, Robert dos Santos and his crew have created an art project and are going to attempt to film a fictional story that was inspired by Rob’s time spent in Tankwa Town last year. We’ve been super impressed by their hard work and dedication to getting this project going. It’s not going to be easy, but if you’ve ever wanted to make a movie, “This Is How The World Ends” is your chance!

This year, amidst the canvas of creativity and self-expression that defines our gathering, myself and a merry band of creatives are introducing a cinematic project unlike any other — a full length fictional film that seeks to capture the essence of our collective experiences, dreams, and realities, set at AfrikaBurn. And you, the heartbeat of this grand landscape,  are invited to play a pivotal role in this extraordinary venture.
