For how long have you been part of AfrikaBurn? This has been my second year Volunteering with the Greeters at the Virgin Bell.

What made you want to join the community? After my first burn in 2018 I could not believe such a place exists. Afrikaburn is an extraordinary co-creation of like minded individuals. Everyone doing their part, jumping in and getting things going, helping and caring for each other has such a big place in my heart as it is so special.

What is your role within the community? Greeter at The Virgin bell.

What do you love about AfrikaBurn? The people, The Love, the energy, it’s something else. I fell in love with the community and the City everyone built together with what they are doing and bringing. Also how enthusiastic people are to make you smile. The efforts of this co-creation of pure magic is just incredible. I LOVE the 11 Principles. (I should have started with that as that is the essence of this experience )

Fun facts!? I live in the beautiful Matroosberg Nature Reserve and my passion is to get people connected with nature
