KAYDEN KLEINHANS – FROM AFRIKABURN TO BURNING MAN BY BIKE

As part of his Global Wheeling initiative, traveller, environmental activist and AfrikaBurner Kayden Kleinhans is on a mission – a very long one! Creating awareness about climate change, Kayden arrived in Buenos Aires on September 5th to start the first leg of his journey northwards through the Americas. And he’s carrying a very special journal – one which many AfrikaBurners may remember signing and leaving messages in at the Temple at AfrikaBurn 2012, as this is the journal he’s carrying with him all the way to deposit in the Temple at Burning Man 2013!

Having braved storms, accidents and acts of god along the way, Kayden is raising awareness with every kilometer he covers, and gathering a growing number of fans along the way both on the ground and online. Some of these fans and friends are now planning a fitting salute to his effort by joining him for the last 100 kilometres from Reno to Burning Man! (if you’re interested in joining the last-stretch posse and cycling to Burning Man alongside Kayden, contact [email protected] )
